Abstract

The rapid adoption of remote work has transformed organizational operations, introducing significant challenges in collaboration, communication, and team engagement. This paper presents "Remote Workspace," is a prototype 2D virtual office environment designed to replicate the social and professional dynamics of a physical workspace. The system leverages real-time communication, interactive avatars, and spatial audio to enhance team collaboration. Key technologies used include Phaser 3 for WebGL rendering, PeerJS for WebRTC-based communication and Colyseus for multiplayer synchronization. User testing results indicate improved engagement and productivity in remote teams. Future work will focus on incorporating performance analytics, scalability enhancements, and integration with third-party productivity tools.
