PAPER BODY

Current research papers, studies or projects are written using the IMRDeC format: Resume, Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Discussion and Conclusions. To update the literature review it is necessary to organize it into several logical parts, each directed by a brief subtitle.

Title: Times New Roman; Size 15

Author1, Author2 and Author3

  1. Abstract: It must contain 150 to 200 words. Written in block format, single space and 10 point Times New Roman font. As for content, an abstract must contain: the general purpose of the article; the theoretical framework that supported the study (main concepts, fundamentals); the basic description of the methodology; and the main results. The keywords must represent well the content of the article, having 3 to 5 terms separated by commas.
  2. Introduction: It should define the problem and importance of the research, presents a review (not very extensive) of the literature on the subject of the article, including the authors contributions to the state of the art. If you use abbreviations or acronyms, first write the words that identify them and then in parentheses, the acronym. This set also establishes the research question, the objectives of the work and hypothesis of, if necessary, the importance and limitations of the study. Establishes the method used at work. It is written in the present tense.
  3. Materials and Methods: Write in detail the research project, including background and limitations. The selection of materials and methods, procedures and equipment must be justified so that the work can be reproduced. Modifications or new methods should be described in detail. You must clearly define the universe and specify how the sample was selected and why it is representative. Data processing represents the practical development of a theoretical basis, deriving the model equations to program the calculation algorithm as needed. Materials include the technical specifications and quantities, the origin and, if necessary, the method for their preparation.
  4. Results: It is the logical presentation of the results that demonstrate the true contribution of the research and also justify the conclusion. The above parts, Introduction, Material and Methods serve to explain how the results are obtained. Use tables and figures for your explanation. Results should be written in the past, in a brief and simple manner. Should be the shortest section, avoid redundancy.
  5. Discussion: Analyze and interpret the results, their importance, the achievements and limitations, highlight the innovative aspects of the practical applications of the study and the conclusions derived from them, delimit the unresolved issues. If necessary, recommendations may be proposed.
  6. Conclusions:Be concise, write your conclusions as clearly as possible. It must be consistent with the objectives of research and scientific issuesdescribed in it.
  7. Authors's Contribution: Example - Conceptualization: Author One, Author Two and Author Three. Methodology: Author One and Author Two. Investigation: Author One and Author Two. Discussion of results: Author One, Author Two and Author Three. Writing – Original Draft: Author One. Writing – Review and Editing: Author One and Author Two. Resources: Author Two. Supervision: Author Two and Author Three. Approval of the final text: Author One, Author Two and Author Three.
