Abstract

Our work consists in realizing by simulation a generator of electromagnetic waves (train of optical pulses) as carrier of the information signal in two different regimes (dispersive and non-linear) based on the technique of imbalance condition between the nonlinear effect and the dispersive effect: that the nonlinear effect is greater than the dispersive effect and vice versa, in order to decrease the temporal width of the optical pulse. In addition, to increase the power and improve the quality of the information signal to be transmitted by optical fiber, or in free space, against additive white Gaussian noise, in advanced telecommunications systems.
