Publication Fee Policy

ITEGAM-JETIA is an open access, peer-reviewed journal committed to ensuring the broad and free dissemination of technical and scientific knowledge. The journal adopts an Article Processing Charge (APC) only for articles approved after the full evaluation process, covering costs related to editorial management, peer review, formatting, DOI assignment, digital archiving (LOCKSS/PKP PN), platform maintenance, editorial team compensation, and international indexing.

This fee supports:

• Editorial process management and peer review;
• Standardization, technical revision, and final formatting;
• DOI assignment and digital archiving (LOCKSS/PKP PN);
• Maintenance of the editorial platform and technical support;
• Compensation of the editorial team;
• International indexing and visibility.

Open access journals provide greater visibility and accessibility, increasing citations and impact. They ensure immediate and free availability of research to a global audience.

APC Pricing by Socioeconomic Region

JETIA adopts a differentiated pricing policy, considering the corresponding author’s country based on World Bank classifications, in order to promote epistemic equity and reduce publication barriers, especially in the Global South:

 

 

Important Notes:

• The APC is charged only after the article has been pre-approved;
• The fee is charged once, and refunds are only issued in cases of duplicate payments;

Refund Policy:

In the event of a refund, a 5% fee will be deducted from the original amount paid. This fee is not charged by the journal but by the PayPal platform, which is responsible for processing the transaction. Therefore, the refunded amount will automatically reflect this deduction applied by the platform.

• For any payment-related inquiries, authors must contact the financial department only.
