Circular economy which was a buzzword few years back is gaining momentum across the world. It is an economic system aimed at minimizing waste and mak- ing the most of resources. It is a model that contrasts with the traditional linear economy, which follows a ’take, make, dispose’ approach. The circular economy involves designing products for longer use, promoting reuse, repair, refurbish- ment, and recycling to create a closed-loop system, thus reducing the need for new resources and minimizing environmental impact. This study aims at iden- tifying the publication trends related to the landscape of circular economy in India. Publications were searched from Dimensions data base. Software assisted bibliometric analysis was performed for bibliographic visualizations and exam- ining the knowledge creating networks. Total 221 publication items went into the analysis. Results reveal about the prominent journals, authors, organisations, and publications in the field. Advancing knowledge in circular economy requires interdisciplinary research and collaboration various disciplines, including busi- ness, environmental science, engineering, and policy studies. Focusing research on sectors related to the circular economy, such as agriculture, manufacturing, renewable energy, and e-waste management, while strengthening policy support through government initiatives, can promote sustainable and innovative solutions in India’s circular economy.
