Object detection algorithm for a mobile robot using Android
Abstract
Mobile robots are an important focus of current research and because movement is an important feature of these, the detection of objects for the evasion of obstacles or for the tracking of trajectories is vital. The use of vision techniques is today one of the most common ways to develop this task, there are different types of algorithms, which are based on the detection of color and shape to the most complicated features detection. The objective of this work is to develop an object detection algorithm based on its color for the control of a mobile robotic platform with Android.
