An Evolutionary Algorithm for Application in Compensation of the Reactive Power in Electric Power Distribution
Abstract
This article has as general objective using the computational tool using computational intelligence based on genetic algorithms (AG), proposed by Azevedo (2015), for the optimization multiobjective of reactive power compensation in networks electrical distribution system capable of locating and the compensation units required to obtain the best economic benefits and the maintenance of indices of energy quality Brazilians, as well as to analyze the behavior in case study in a company of the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM).
